A contract is an exchange of promises enforced by law. Unless there is language somewhere specifically stating this is an agreed upon exchange of abuse and intended harm, I would think any court of law would assume a degree of respect would be implied on something like a message board.

A passenger does not buy airfare, board the plane and expect the stewardess to beat him to a pulp or even antagonize and insult him through the full flight. Then be told he should have expected it because after all, this is Al Jazeera airlines and you're wearing a yarmulke.

Respect would be implied at a minimum. Nobody pays to be abused unless its a very sordid business and there would definately be language included to make that clear.

Had a pretty interesting similar one at the Glenn Beck forums, lot of old timers there whining about the new people (most of them didn't like getting "sarcasm" back at 'em)
